AN ENERGY Fair to show people in Brampton how to save money on their bills will be held next weekend. Sustainable Brampton is holding the fair in Brampton Community Centre on Saturday, April 24. Organisers aim to provide visitors with free advice on how to save energy and reduce bills and encourage investment in renewable energy. About 30 energy suppliers and advisors will be offering demonstrations and there will be presentations by experts in renewable energy.
Tim Coombe from Sustainable Brampton, said: “There has never been a better time for home Towner’s and business alike to discover the best way to make savings on energy costs as well as how to benefit from investing in renewable energy. It’s free, everyone is welcome, and I am confident that the fair will be both thought provoking and enjoyable.”
The fair runs from 11am until 4pm. There will be a raffle with £500 worth of prizes. There will also be a children’s drawing competition on the theme ‘Our life in 2050.’ The event is in partnership with Ecologic Living.
